The Dream Act to allow illegal children of illegal aliens the right to stay here legally as long as they go to college or if they join the military along with other requirement outlined in the Dream Act was debated and then passed the House.

Besides the fact that the little dictator Nancy Mussolini Pelosi spoke for 10 minutes when she was only given 1 minute to speak, I cut her off, the debate was good, except for the first guy in the video. The first guy did his cause no good whatsoever. His sense of entitlement will not win over the minds of the American people. Notice I said minds and not hearts. That is because in general conservatives "think" about legislation while the liberals "feel" about legislation.

And that is why liberal legislation and policies always go wrong. They let their hearts guide them and not their brains. And why is this? Some would say that it is because they have no brains, but that is obviously not true. I think it is because they are really touchy feely type people, who want what is best for everyone, but they just never think of the unintended consequences of their acts, and in this case it is the Dream Act.

The liberals say that this Act will not entice more illegal immigration, but how could it not? We keep forgiving illegal immigration into this country and what has it gotten us, more illegal immigrants. Is that not insane? Yes it is.

I for one understand the plight of these children who were brought here by their parents illegally. They are raised here and attend school here just like you or I do or did. They are as was stated in the debate, just as much American as you or I in their hearts. But the thing is that they are here illegally, and the law is the law.

If only we would truly enforce our border, then I would have no problem with this act except that it apparently will allow these new citizens to sponsor their own parents and siblings to become American citizens. So before we pass legislation like this, we must first control our border! And don't tell me that it cannot be done because it can. Do we keep people behind bars in prisons? Yes of course we do, so what is the difference between that and making a wall that keeps most people out? The only difference is our will to do it. So build a real wall and then I will support the Dream Act. I know others will not, but I will.

  • @hmongpabhmong because they arent giving benefits to people to do good, they do it to gain control over people.. on the surface it looks like its good, benefits.. but with those benefits, always comes enslavement and power over people... besides, the wealth the usa gives to other countries, is removed from americans by force.. i certainly didnt voluntarily hand over any tax

  • @longfootbuddy My question is : " why do then USA always always send donations to other country and giving away foods to other country.......and you are fighting for USA not to support USA own country. It is like saying I rather feed my ENEMY before I feed my FRIEND.........We are FRIENDS OF USA....We help with the Military Services, we pay taxes, we will DIE for this GREAT COUNTRY too????

  • as long as you mindlessly follow goverment orders, youll get all kinds of benefits at the expence of others
