After listening to some newer stuff I'll admit he has changed his style up a lot. But you have to admit he has a plethora of beats with this same THUMB TSK THUMB TSK sound to it.

@TheAnonymousAnomie Yeah, I get what you mean. That's definitely the case with a lot of his older beats (circa 2002-2006), but not his entire catalog. Personally though, I love the "FL stock" drums. Easy on the ears, and they complement his chopping well. Not to mention they're a trademark of his early work. But, it's good to know that you listened to some of his newer music and realized he's more versatile than you initially thought. Fans of 9th should stop responding to that first comment now.
