Felix: A Victim of Oxford University

Felix is a primate who is currently incarcerated inside Oxford University and will be used in a series of experiments into brain function. He will be 'trained' to do tricks for a reward, and will be punished if he fails; he will have electrodes implanted deep into his brain through his skull, he will experience years of abuse and then at the end of that abuse he will be put to death. I'm actually nearly crying. These things are sick. Disgusting. An animal has no right to suffer like Felix, and many more animals, did. In town I found a poster. Guess what it said?

Me and my friends think this is disgusting, and we are currently doing a project on animal abuse and testing. Just because animals can't put their pain and suffering into words, it doesn't mean they aren't.

@littlelyera im pretty sure its only a minority who take an xtreme pro-animal rights view. The students at oxford arent idiots like most of the activists who seem to want human rights for animals

Lets not point the finger at oxford please, all universities have animal research departments and there are of course all the non-university related ones too.

Lets also not forget the vandalism, attacks and death threats that have taken place towards completely unrelated departments and people at Oxford form certain animal protest groups.
