@cornwallgeezer you are so lucky, I watch gary lam DVDs and apply the knowledge and principles at my school which is meant to be a wong kam leung lineage but you can tell the knowlege has been diluted down by egotistical teachers. some of my senior students who just cannot seem to work out that my power comes from a very stable structure and not strength, in fact they dont even teach the importance of pushing your hips forward to straighten the spine to help to get structure.

G LAM, philip bayer, Wong kam leung, are at the top when it comes to WChun, the only other sifu who may have an even more depth of knowledge is chu sheung ting and his students, I dont rate anyone else, Leung ting and William cheung are business men hence there own brand of ineffective modified wing chun. They are not in the same league as gary lam

really its the more explicit sifu of wing chun ... even others are fasters of the yougth gary its very clear in the tecnics and nots about fastenes it a matter of a clear tecnique
