Fresh Salsa Recipe

I'm practicing a salsa recipe that I usually make with canned tomatoes and chilis, this time with fresh. I've registered to complete in the fresh salsa competition at the state fair this year, and nothing can be cooked or canned. The kids are helping me with the camera and blender.

It's to late but just dice tomatos and don't boil them not so much onion and add cilontro and garlic!

@GeiserAlexis Never too late to try something different for next year! I'll try that once I get some new tomatoes. Just have frozen ones right now.

It is most of the time -- if the onions are too strong it gets a little overwhelming the longer it is stored, but it usually doesn't last too long.

Looks great! Your recipe is pretty much the same as mine, but I blend everything for more of a hot sauce or if I'm making it more for a meal I add ground meat. Best of luck to you at the fair, I know it's some awesome yummy stuff!

Thanks! I'll have to try it all blended up as a hot sauce. It would definitely be good that way.

lol i always wanted to make my own receipe sauce but.....i just don't have the touch....maybe i can try to make ur sauce around here n impressed my family.....just kidding keep it up homie
