@jv41653 Yes! I'll be damned, I was just looking around online for some evidence of this. I didn't realize that was a Duane Eddy song till I heard the 45 many years later.

Does anyone remember the WKYT Sign-On from about 25 years ago using the song, "Because They're Young," by Duane Eddy? I would love to see that Sign-On clip again if anyone has it to post. The announcer would say, and now join us for the finest TV brodcasting, "In Living Color," Channel 27 WKYT TV.
