@wisteela I am running Mandriva 9.2 and only because it is the only distro i had that would recognise a USB keyboard at the early stages of boot. The rest wanted PS2. And from that i couldn't press ENTER to begin the instal!
Anyway, your spying is close in that it is a 640, however it only has one floppy drive, i think the 640s have two, the blank is there anyway. I keep meaning to use it to connect to the PSION organisers i have. Never quite get around to it....
@wgoodf Thanks for the info. I'm always after distros for old PCs. That's odd, as my 512 has two drives. Only difference should be memory and the modem.
@wisteela well i guess mines was harvested then. but it also cost me about a fiver, so i really cant complain.
distro wise i also have a copy of mandrake 7(air), it has a 486 edition which is handy to have around. the last time i wandered around such ftp sites, the iso was still to be had.
Yes, that really is a cool little game. I've got it under Cygwin. What distro you using?
I also spy an Amstrad PPC512. I've got one of those too.

@wgoodf Mine cost £15 with the case, manual, damaged PSU, copy of OS disk. Luckily I had a good PSU.
