Reasons for cooling-off period do not hold

Non-Constituency MP Sylvia Lim said the Workers Party opposed the introduction of a cooling-off period as the reasons given - such as risks posed by irrational voters and fear of unrest - do not hold. She added that the cooling-off day is also likely to be abused in the ruling partys favour.

pap and the singapore citizen does not mix at all, it has once before in the past but not now. it has lost it's touch and do not trust its own nation..... so sad.... so crippling and so unsafe and so instable.....singapore needs freedom of speech and human rights and social benefits for the singaporeans, which currently does not exist at all. pap has lost it vision and not in par with the people at all.... please open your eyes and vote for the opposition to allow change in sg.

@annneo1 Past PAP works and build the nation base on citizens interest. I agree. that's why we vote for them in the past. For your info, they ARE suppose and paid to do that in the first bloody place!

Now, PAP only have money in their mind. No doubt we have first class economy. But we have second class citizens.

The mentality of PAP has changed and we no longer owe them any gratitude.

These PAP MPs aint those who build singapore last time. The one who actually is, already won by walk over.
