@bobbysnobby We actually give the least based on our GDP, and the countries we donate to owe us more money yearly then we give them.

Good idea, but if this gets put in place I don't see it making that much of a change. And what's to stop banks passing on this charge to customers?
The fact that bankers earn so much is a problem of and within itself anyways.
This is yet another half baked solution. Half baked is putting is nicely.

why...why...why isn't this in place yet?

Yes this is the best form of tax, BUT the world just went passed peak energy, to give the masses more money now is pointless as there isn't enough energy left to bring people out of the shit. Spending $ just speeds up the destruction of our environment. At this stage not spending it will not stop what is happening ether.

what we have here is a good tax that can be legislated by individual governments. We don't need fucking trendies and idiots to scare voters off by bringing climate change nonsense into it. It's a national tax, not glaobal
how about just stop hitler style ilegal invasions of the middle east and spend that 450 million dollas thats being spent everyday on the war (which by the way the american soldiers are helping the farmers grow opium... ch ch CHING! ) and spend it on the poor of the world... including the countries doing the invading.... the americans and the british are the real terrorists here and we cant even help the needy in our own countries.... and we the public let it happen because of lies and fear

Definitely a great idea. I've signed the petition on the website and I've made sure all my friends and family have too. (:
