Zero Wing - "Serious Version"

Zero Wing was one of my very first fan dubs, and it was the first video game I voiced over. Funnily enough I was looking through old papers and I happened to find a Zero Wing English translation that I had written as a report for a school assignment. I read the translation, and thought to myself I could make it a serious voice over with correct translation. So this is the non-Engrish version (lol).

@Gaz66d Thank you, however I did rush things a little with voice acting as I did all the voices. If I were to make this "adaptation" now-a-days I would call up a bunch of voice actors and probably not even consider myself for one of the roles.

I always hoped they would remake Zero Wing with updated dialogue, perhaps with an option to use the original 1992translation as well

Some of the lines felt a bit too shortened, and the music was just a bit too repetitive(i.e. no heroic change of mood when the captain sends out the ZIG-fighters), but that was some extremely good voice acting. I'm pretty sure you could make a career out of this.

To the uploader. For the love of God, listen to yourself objectively for one second. "That's impossible. To all zig fighters: You all know what each of you have to do. Engage the enemy. Bring us justice."

No one speaks that way. You put absolutely zero emotion into "That's impossible". The captain is trying to inspire his zig fighters for great justice, not trying to send them off for a training exercise. Would it kill you to actually try and sound like a captain?
