I'm older still, but believe I got frozen into the mind of a 19 year old (hopefully a fairly mature one by now). I, too, am grateful for the time. Where in Scotland? I don't use it in Cairo, but I still have a sweater in storage in Michigan from the Geirloch

Yo Bill this is really fantastic.Nice voice, clear instruction, and great fingerpicking. I'm struggling but hey I'm only 65 going on 16 so got all the time in the world to learn it,and practice. When God made Time He made loads of it. Keep on at it my friend and many thanks. Greetings from Scotland Mac

who's this song by?

Far as I can tell, it's a traditional folk song. Cisco Huston sang it long ago, but I don't know who he got it from. Maybe someone out there knows a lot more than I do. I'll ask around.

I have just found this lovely video; what a super sound and such a pleasant voice.
I have a guitar or two and hope to benefit from the excellent tuition.
Entertaining and instructive; thankyou!

Thanks for the encouraging remarks! Just now I'm in Michigan recuperating from a bad leg fracture, but by the end of April I hope to be back in Cairo and resuming the creation of these sorts of lessons.
