No, no, no. Waacking started on the Westside, while Voguing comes from the Eastside. So Waacking did not evolve from Voguing, and it originally contains no Locking elements. The guy who first started combining Locking with Waacking was Shabba-Doo, and he renamed this kind of dance with "Shway".

How far I know, Wacking came of Vogue, that appeare in the gay nightclubs of Las Vegas, and was mixed with Locking ... The sound reproduced by quick movements was called wack, from where came the name WACKING. I can not say much because the person who told the story of wacking in the first and only course that I did, was Laure C.. Only she would explain exactly what it is and where it came from.
