College dropout wins 8.5 million poker jackpot

LAS VEGAS (AP)—A 21-year-old Michigan poker professional who chose cards over college won the World Series of Poker main event in Las Vegas early Tuesday, winning $8.55 million and becoming the youngest player to win the tournament in its 40-year history. He won with a pair of nines.

There is so much misinfo in here.

1. It was not a jackpot, it was the first place price for beating 6000+ other people.

2. He did not 'win the whole thing with a pair or 9s' He won ONE HAND with a pair of 9s, out of the estimated 2500 he was dealt.

3. Some people leave college because they can make a better wage without it...like Bill Gates.

4. He did not do it online.
