@BADprid3 Actually it is street legal. The super snake was and SC cobras (Semi Competition) were. I had the pleasure of driving an original. The owner knew of 2 other originals and he said one of the easiest ways to tell it's real is to look at the paint and interior. He said paint should be faded and interior should have cracks.

A real Cobra made by Shelby does sell for 400K and I have seen and touched one (Please note because of this I have not washed my hand in 6 years)

@TheNoisePolluter Trying to understand "Back then real ones would go for 400K" .... umm..... no they didn't. They were plenty of them. They didn't sell that well.They went from $5600.00 (289)-$9700.00 (427 SC) They actually dropped the price on the SCs when it was learned that they ran out of W coded FEs and started using 428s.

@BADprid3 is that so? I'm finding 1/4 mile times in the mid 12's. If that were true about the cobra, i'd say thats the fastest quarter mile of any stock car. Mind giving me your source? (ps a bugatti veyron runs mid 10's at about the same speed)
