There's a mistake on that video description... It's not each neighbourhood, "falla" is also the name given to the association which builds the sculpture. These associations are the ones building and burnig afterwards the sculptures...

@emmelawrence I know it must seem strange. It originally dates back to the tradition in which people would bring out the furniture the families didn't need anymore and burn it in honor of Saint Joseph. It's much more elaborate now xD
