  • hello! i just made this and im waiting for the caramel and base to cool down exept, my caramel is alot darker than yours??? i thought it could of been beacuse i used too much golden syrup but i used exactly 2 table spoons, will it still turn out the same? thanks

  • @pinkyflowaz23 The longer you cook it, the darker it gets, - it should be fine ;)

  • is it alright if i use a bit bigger lamington pan?

  • @iluvu2amber Yes, that will be fine ;)

  • is the golden syrup basically a sugar- water solution that has been thickened?

  • @ashleytidalefan12 Golden Syrup is made of sugar cane. It's thick, dark and very sweet - similar to treacle but lighter ;)

  • I made this, and they tasted like little bites of heaven! Delicious!

  • Are there any tastey alternatives for the coconut? It looks delicious and I want to make it but I am not vey fond of coconut

  • Do I have to use brown sugar or is it okay if I use normal sugar?

  • Its really nice how people say you 'OnePotChef' should get your TV show, and I understand that at least (probably) more people would have access to you but, you all have to admit that just watching him do all his videos from the comfort of his home, somewhat puts you in a relaxed mood. I just feel that being simple in this sense is better- I enjoy watching you work at your home- it gives me the sense that I can actually do what you're doing in your videos...You are really great at what you do ^^
