@ccAshercc Right!....have another drink.....legacy? Toronto is almost a half century since their last cup. They've not made the playoffs for almost 10yrs. They've not been even a contender for 20yrs. THEY ARE A NATIONAL JOKE! They're not close to a contender for 5 yrs due to management blunders. People make fun of the Oilers ( 5 cups in their short history), People laugh at the Canucks (3rd final and they've made the playoffs consistantly for 15 yrs). Passion?? LOL Delusional is more like it.

@good2goskee You sir are a fool. The Leaf fans are true and faithful, the same cannot be said of any other Canadian team so it really doesn't matter who you support. And even a blind person could see the progression the Leafs have been making recently so soon enough you'll be eating your words and probably cheering along with the rest of the nation as the TRUE Canadian team brings the Cup home to stay. Other Canadian teams wish they could have the legacy of Toronto, the passion of its fans.

Better for the Maple Laughs join the circus rather than the NHL.

@Alex911TheCanadian I am sorry but to the best of my knowledge the National anthem of Canada up til the 1960's was "God Save the Queen/King. When I went to school in the 40's & 50's we always sang it at school at the beginning of each day.

@324wilson The Maple Leaf Forever was Canada's unofficial national anthem. The French Canadians did not like the song due to references to the King/Queen (whom ever is in power at the time). It is used as a Canadian Forces Marching Song today.
