I don't recommend this type of straightening treatment, they use harmful chemicals that can serverly damage the hair, that's why I prefer the flat iron which is safer and cause less damage, I use a good one, it's the Karmin G3 Salon Pro that has tourmaline ceramic plates which leaves the hair soft, shiny, healthy and very straight.

My hair has never been relaxed and i'm african american with medium hair. Will I qualify?

Since i am unable to come to you guys, I did some research here. I found a salon in Chandler, AZ.. I called and they gave me the price of 150-220... I asked them what type of products they use, and i'm pretty sure she said "Well being"... she said it is a product from Japan. I was wondering if you have heard of this product, or might know what they were talking about? I am nervous and could use advice. Thank you :)

Usually the relaxer chemical blocks the JHS chemical from going through the hair, so you would need to grow out the relaxed parts first and then get the JHS done. and you're probably not going to find anywhere where they just sell the product, you would need to go to a professional to get this procedure done.

it WORKS on african Am. hair as long as they DIDN"T RELAX their hair! so if you have it RELAXED grow it out and then you can get it done!
