What people need to understand is that O'reilly Beck, Oberman are not reporters. They are political commentators. What they say is their opinions. Reporters are Katie Couric, Shepard Smith, Wolf Blitzer, Mike Wallace. Those people are reporters. Their programs are news programs. Wither you like the networks or not. that is what they are.
They criticize Obama for not being far enough left. That only strengthens their bias. As for Maddow, she is not that biased. I would put her on par with O'Reilly. Olbermann has never in his career said anything good about Bush or endorsed even the slightest hint of a conservative viewpoint. He is the most biased person in the media and he's too cowardly to admit it.
And btw, I'm done with Obama. In the sense that it is blatantly obvious that he is not who he said he was.
His campaign was just lie after lie.
This is from a liberal perspective. The right wingers don't have any valid complaints because they only care about tearing him down. I care about policy and can now see that Obama is no more than Bush lite.
He's 5% change. The audacity of maybe. He's the lukewarm president. And if people were to paint him as a coward, I may have to agree.
O'Reilly is less biased than other right wing commentators
...but they're so biased, that O'Reilly is still 80% biased. And a lot of the time he uses the technique of saying reasonable things just so he'll have some cover later (and can play back clips of himself saying vaguely reasonable things).
You'll see Olbermann and Maddow legitimately criticize Obama WAY more often than O'Reilly. O'Reilly will criticize him illegitimately and unfairly, constantly.

Afraid I agree with you. Why is he acting like a Republican? They hate him anyway!

O'Reilly just said Obama is smarter than Bush. This proves that he's less biased than all those moronic ideologues that constantly criticize him.
