Finally! After six months of intense technique training, it has given me the results that I wanted! The suit gave me (during this lift) approximately 88 lbs (40 kg) extra. Judging from this clip, I might have another 15-25 lbs (7,5-12,5 kg) in me!
For all I can say is that it's worth it. Changing from my conventional stance to sumo stance has not been easy. The biggest problem with the conventional stance is that whenever I put on my suit, my old Metal Deadlifter, I can't lift without arching my back too much and that only ends with failure. Plus, I couldn't get much out of the suit. Six months ago, I noticed that I had more in me if I changed my stance (the only problem was that I couldn't even deadlift 330 lbs raw, but with the help of the suit I was able to deadlift more). I went from 330 lbs raw to 400 lbs (sumo stance) in less than 3 months. Then I got a small injury in the back that basically kept me away from DL for a month. I scrapped my old DL suit and bought a Titan Super Centurion (wich is two sizes smaller). Yeah, it's a major pain in the ass to put it on but it gives me the "rebound" that I want.
I will try setting a new personal best within a month with the suit.
