well there is a k sound though represented by כּ (emphasized khaf), more than that,
in Shar'abi Yemeni Hebrew they keep it the same as sefaradi hebrew and pronounce
it as K rather than G. (when compared with Sefaradi Hebrew where the kof would sound like K or Iraqi "k".)

its 100% aramaic.
Sifro de 7ayey (Sifra de 7ayey) = Book of life. Hu basifro de 7ayey yixtavan = He Shall write them in the book of life". In Judaism, there's the book of life and book of death that God holds and at the end of each hebrew year ur destiny is determined for the next.
