U assume everyone who does Aikido didn't grow up fighting "on the streets"

I did grow up that way,I've spared with 2 Aikido guys & they'r like trying to catch a wet fish

Asked 1 mate who was head bouncer in busy city night spot for yrs what he's seen works best,he said,"Boxing,Mai Thai,basic Wing Chung & Aikido but the Aikido guys can be any size or fitness"

1 mate was pro-am for 10yrs,then turned to Aikido

Aikido mate said S.A.S guy in Afghanistan 10yrs needed Aikido to survive
