If you know there is nothing but God and you have also Spiritually Awakened As that One then you ARE that One, it is not a matter of self-glorification vs humbleness, this is just a reaction from the competitive ego that cant stand the thought of someone thinking they might be better or higher than oneself. However this mode of thinking is still very much in the egoic domain of perception. The confession of Adi Da Knowing Himself to Be the Divine is not egoic, this is a gross misconception.

As we are all truly ONE, and Adi Da is that ONE, and although we are too, we don't recognise this, or at least we keep contracting from IT. Adi Da does not believe that He is the Divine, He knows it, just as He knows we are too. He lived as the Divine in Human Form, we don't. He says we become what we meditate on, so why not meditate on That That is Divine in human form? This is where faith comes in to begin with, and as one practises one realizes the Truth of who we Truly are. xxx

I was 1st. to comment on this video a year ago; and now i am both pleased & dismayed as to the comments! I have NO answer about why some 'get it' & others 'dispise it!' But i do remember Him saying: "In principle, IT is a simple thing; but, in practice IT is a very complicated thing (this Spiritual Path)!" It hurts to hear other defame what i love; but i understand not all will understand it...because one must understand the Radical nature of his non-dualistic references! Right?

Yes, indeed you are right. But fundamentally it has nothing to do with the mind or any intellectual understanding of anything at all. Adi Da writes in Not-Two Is Peace, "The happening of Truth is not through the mind--it is at the heart. Truth is a not a proposition argued over against other propositions. Truth is self-evident, because the heart authenticates it in the moment of reception." (pg. 71)

what i dont understand is why does he believe only in himself saying if you recognise me, you'll know who you are..that puts me off as i have a long line of spiritual inheritors behind me we get taught to be humble and even my master says he is nothing and says he is the weakest humbility is the key to true love..like a rain drop saying its someting as it falls..but when reaching an ocean it says im nothing and then when it says its nothing its becomes something it becomes an ocean.

Thanks Gurjieff66 yes i am sure seeing what Real sex from a Master looks like would be informative to many of us that are trapped in all manor of social emotional taboos around the subject. Adi Da who has dealt with the issue so directly and written the finest wisdom on the subject, gets thrown stones at by nieve childish "spiritual' people who have never bothered to really study and learn from a True Master who did actually address and Master this most fundemental issue for our liberation ..
