nice tip. very inventive and super simple.
just curious though.... did any of you really stockpile extra food and fill jugs of water and put them in the basement because of the impending economic crisis?
it is always weird to look back a few years ago and see how paranoid people were about the financial collapse.
does anyone remember Y2K???? people were lined up for days to get gas and paying 6 and 7 bucks a gallon for it. i always wondered how they felt on january 2nd.

Hang a tarp horizontally, between trees, put a rock in the middle which will pull that section down. The dew collects on bottom of the tarp through the night and moves to the lowest section in the middle. When the water reaches the middle, it then drips into a pan directly below. Should collect a larger amount with less effort.

My wife is also acceptably tart! That's why i love her so:)
Nice video. By the way, those berries on the small trees which you are collecting water from are called "northern hush berries" and they are edible in the late fall and early winter months. Don't eat them before then because they are extremely sour in the summer, they are acceptably tart starting late fall. Just some more FYI for those out there.
