hey did you do something to make it boot up so fast...mines take forever..help me out plz... and i took off win vista and put win XP pro now it's running kinda slow..can't watch movies without it sticks...help me out wid dis..

I pulled off 15 seconds total when I had just bought my tower, everything even msn would be up and running with nothing removed to conserve memory not sure why it doesn't happen anymore though, maybe its the XP I have now its all mest up loool

I have a few remarks.
1. In both title and description you talk about Vista boot time. Incorrect, about 20 seconds is related to the bios and has nothing to with Vista. Btw, you bios cycle time is slow...must be a laptop thing I guess.
2. At one point you talk about shutdown to fully booted up in 1 minute. That's a reboot and not a boot
3. I count 40 seconds to start Vista. Seems to be a fair time on a laptop. Expect on a well equipped desktop to shave off 15 seconds.
