I have been very pleased with the changes I have noticed in my attitude and actions regarding food and exercise the past 14 days. My clothes are literally falling off of me. I find myself having to intentionally poke my stomach out, to keep from pulling up my pants all day. It's amazing!

I've had a few people to ask me about my workout with my trainer. Personally, I believe my food choices is the primary reason I am losing weight. I'm also pumping pretty heavy iron, so I'm sure this has a factor in my weight loss as well, since muscle weighs more than fat. My biggest fear is to lose weight and have flabby skin. So far this has not been an issue.

I know some people think because you don't eat meat you will not have the energy to sustain a high endurance wkout. This appears to be faulty thinking, because Kristina B. runs 6-7 miles a day. Alicia is a personal trainer and nutritionist. Actually, when I get to the gym, I feel like a million bucks. Going back to the weight loss, since I am pumping so much iron, I'm going to monitor my caloric intact very close. We'll see how this works.

Success Today:
- Having a hard time finding a suit to wear b/c they were too B-I-G!!!
- Being tired and staying focused on my work instead of food.
- Bypassing for the 3rd day in the row my veggie sub craving.
- Went to gym to use spinning machine by myself. (Today is actually an off day with trainer).

Challenges:
- Thinking about a sub sandwich all day!
- I've been fighting off a cold for the past few days.

  • The fact that you are losing inches is tremendous, a far better indicator of fitness. Weight fluctuates on women due to hormones and such, not a good guage in my opinion. You are doing so many things right! Self satisfaction is well within your reach.Keep it up! Peace~
