  • Their CD version is *much* stronger, and really quite amazing.

  • @Skallelv2 what cd version? Do TakeNote and TigeRoar have a cd version of this song available?

  • @tknoteldy6 3rd try to reply (not letting me post URL). Google "Clemson Takenote". On their website, click on "Store" and request order form. I believe there are 5 CD available, however "No Air" and a few others are available on iTunes. Search "Takenote!" and look for Takenote acapella and Clemson Takenote songs.

  • @Skallelv2 I was actually a member of TN for 5 years (I was on NTWHYA and Life's A Pitch) ;) I did some research and the group I believe you were referring to is another a cappella group called Take Note Acappella, a co-ed group from Catholic University. They just released a cd with "No Air" on it (reviewed on rarb.org), but that is not actually TakeNote from Clemson University. TakeNote and Tigeroar did not actually record this song on an album -- at least not yet!

  • I completely agree with you, SpnKick540, the male soloist was excellent however, the femalesounded a bit weak with me, it sounded like she was constantly in falsetto and ot harmonizing correctly. The girl that filling in for the female soloist at from 1:55 to 2:06 was so good and had a stronger than the female soloist, especially on the ''... do you expect me...'' line of the song. Amazing rendition though, the harmonies were so tight

  • Very enjoyable to listen to. Male soloist eclipses the female soloist, IMO. Whoever was filling in for her at one point when she was doing the adlib sounded a lot stronger.

  • @tknoteldy6: google Clemson Takenote to get their website. The other choirs are listed there as well. There are (I believe) 5 CDs available for Takenote! The latest (I think) songs, including "No Air" are available on iTunes. Type "Takenote!" in the search box, and look for the songs under "Clemson Takenote" or "Takenote Acapella" under artist. Their CD "Now that We Have Your Attention" is my fave.

  • @tknoteldy6

Yes. You can get a .pdf CD order form by contacting their marketing manager at: mal@clemson.edu. I believe that there are still 5 CD's available. Or, go to iTunes, type "Takenote!" in the search, and look for Clemson Takenote or Takenote Acapella. "No Air" is one of the tunes available. Their CD "Now That We Have Your Attention" is a keeper.

  • I'm junior guy in high school and I really regret not trying out for choir. I also dig Glee.

    Haters gonna hate.

  • pretty good. the background should have built SO much more at the beginning of the bridge into the "oohoh" part

  • its wierd, i am a guy who listens to country and southern rock all the time, but i think these guys and girls are awesome

  • awesome, molly!
