Vacation Bible School Promotional Video for the Milford Vineyard Church, Summer of 2004 Cast: Asian guy- Jeremy Stevenson, Long-haired guy- J. Hortenberry, Cute kid- Logan Hortenberry, Pie in face girl- Elena Stevenson, Voiceover- Jeremy Stevenson, Camera/Editing- Mike Brownfield, Pianist/Soundtrack- Jeremy Stevenson. Here is an older video that we made in 2004 for the Milford Vineyard Church's Vacation Bible School. The Summer Olympics were being held that year, so we adopted that theme for VBS. It was called "Son Games" ("Son" being Jesus, for you non-churched out there). I put together a storyboard on the fly, and Mike Brownfield did all the camerawork and film editing. We did not use stunt doubles, and no animals were harmed in any way during the making of the film. And you can actually hear me play a snippet of a Chopin Nocturne during J's weak ribbon routine. J., Elena, Logan and I had a blast doing this little commercial...it was great! Now imagine this being shown in a church service to a large auditorium of people. Even though we no longer attend this church, you have to admit that any denomination that would show a video where I get impaled onto the ground with a javelin is a pretty cool church...
