Good work, U.S. Marines! This is an historic moment. I saw General Conway's announcement on the evening news that the U.S. Marines were leaving Anbar because they were no longer needed there. Anbar has become a safe place. Now that Anbar has been turned back over to the Iraqis, I hope that the Iraqis can maintain order there. Kudos to the U.S. military for securing Anbar! This is another victory for the U.S. and for democratic Iraq.
