I think the Heritage flight Organization has to change it's full name to " USAF & USAAF Heritage Flight. The USA land based fighters of WW2 such as the P-40, the P-38, the P-47 and the P-51 were known as USAAF fighters. And you'd probably know what the USAAF stands for.

It doesn't matter where I hear this song, whether it be at an airshow or on youtube, it makes me tear up every time. I feel so privilaged to be able to have grown up around these great warbirds and to have met so many wonderful people who have served this country. To all of the men and women who have served this country and to those who are currently in the serives, I thank you from the bottom of my heart .

I love to go to airshows just for the heritage flight, but one of the things that inspires the most awe for me is how much bigger today's planes are to those of the past. The f-86 is roughly the same size as the P-51(1:57), but the F-15 seems 3 times bigger(2:06)

I really liked heritage flight it was just hard to actually enjoy because when i went to the air show i ended stuck behind a bunch of idiots who wouldnt shut up.
