The button has nothing to do with getting perks. All you need to do is buy 4 perks, survive monkeys without loosing any perks and you get the 5th.

@Dak17SJ But I actually did, i bought jug and it was monkey round so my friend went to jug and stuff so i didnt start buying yet cus they might go after the perks so he got the last monkey and he kept it alive (and away from machine) as long he can and then he killed it and i bought all the perks by then. he picked it up and i had 5 perks. and so did my other friend. there were 3 of us. 1 guarding and 2 trying to get 5 perks :D

@DudeTheGamer you can't get a perk bottle if the monkeys touch a perk machine. Also, the monkey rounds won't start until you buy at least one perk.

Guys.. i got a way better way to get it. First, dont buy any perks until you and your friend have lots of money 1 person needs to protect jug and keep the last monkey alive while u run around buying all the perks. once you buy 4 perks tell him to kill it and get the perk bottle. :)
