yah they are man wat u talkin bout....nads lead singer was backup on that reggae band... i forgots...... anyweays yah theyre christian listen to the lyrics besides this song.
No they're not Christian, they sued their record label for marketing them as a Christian band. The lead singer was previously in a Christian band called Earthsuit, look up the song "One Time" if you don't believe me. Paul has said he wants everyone to get their own meaning out of the songs. And don't think I'm hating on Christian music either, I love Christian bands like Sanctus Real, Tree63, Shane & Shane, etc.
i knew he was in Earthsuit but i swear The lead singer is christian. My dad knew him kinda. Met him when he played at the old venue "The Strand" where my dad his own store. yah that was many years ago but he does mention some things about christ and God in his lyrics. trust me i've read them. Theyre not a christian band but are very based. where do u get the info on the suing the record label tjing?
Not to agree with redraz07 but technically, Mute Math was "uncomfortable" with the Christian Band label.
Yes, they are all Christians and have a christian tone to their music, however, its basically another case of "Christians in a band" over "Christian Band."
According to Christianity Today, "they prefer to be marketed as a band, not a ministry."
