When I saw the Boss in Hartford, CT, Nils came out and played like this, but it was much more upbeat..which was fitting, because they opened with "Sherry Darling".

I really thought it was a misspelling of 'downtown train' when I first saw the title. I mean; he has played 'Jersey girl' by Tom Waits so why not that one?

First of all, it's the first song of the evening, so of course we all was pretty happy that Bruce played such a great song, which is not played that often.
Second, many, and I mean many of Bruces's songs are "melancholy". What are you supposed to do? Just stand there and stare? Have you ever been to a Bruce-concert?? If you don't, then welcome to Sweden. We know how to rock a Springsteen concert!
