How to use a Presta to Schrader Valve Adaptor

This video will show you how to adapt a Presta Valve to turn it into a Schrader Valve. This can be helpful if your pump only accepts Schrader Valves

@delPigeon If you don't mind destroying your inner tube, you can cut the presta valve off. It is a good idea to take it to a shop though as they will be able to tell you what went wrong.

@TheBicycleGeek Hey - not yet unfortunately! I tried using a spanner to remove it, but I think I did it at a slightly angle and may have mangled it more so I'm just going to take it into the bike shop tomorrow. Perhaps it was bent beforehand, it's hard to say now. Thanks for replying so promptly in any case!

@delPigeon Hey, I'm sorry but I haven't really heard of this happening before. I can only think that you crossed threads maybe, or that the Presta valve head was slightly bent before hand. Have you managed to get it off yet?

Sad times, I did exactly this and totally screwed up my tyre :( The adaptor got lodged onto the Presta valve, somehow removed the valve from within the tyre and bent it totally out of shape. Now I can't get it off! Any ideas what I might have done wrong?
