@CAdoomvideos you make the mistake african slavery for european and arabic slavery..these so called africans enslaving africans.the slave had just as much right as his master..slave was able to marry, educate himself.able his own home.sometimes even the so called african slave master would offer up hs own daughter in marriage to the slave..no torture..no limbs chopped off....no rules of supriority...why dont you lok up true african culture that has'nt been distorted by europeans and arabics
Because, and I know because I am african and live here, of the traditional tribal culture. This is inbred into just about every black african and it is that he answers to a chief, one chief. Not many like in democratic countries. He does not believe in opposition and will vote for the winner, thus denying himself of a functioning society. You cannot help him, beurocricy and running top heavy are further burdens. sorry.
The western world cannot change that, it is cultural. You must accept him for the way he is, helping him aint going to make a lasting difference, prove me wrong. The only hope, the only slither of light ahead (forget the past), is for african countries to embrace other developed cultures. Not just cell phones, BMWs and hamburgers, but that which makes other races able to look after themselves. There is very little hope of this happening, really and sadly.
continued...But the situation was not conducive to planning ahead like races in colder climes who had to plan for winter food. Even now after more than 200 years exposure to "civilisation", basic concepts do not appear to be grasped. These being waste disposal, supply of fresh water, roads, infrastructure to enable growth etc. The reason goes back to not having to provide very much for themselves.
After all these years, it still remains unpopular to voice the truth. Through no fault of their own, black Africans have remained under-developed, they lived in a country where food and water was supplied all year round and appart from the "weak" ones who were forced to move to more barren land by "stronger" tribes, all lived fairly well.
