  • I think Catacomb 3-D was the first 3-D experience, before Doom, you are a mage shooting fireball at zombies and living trees. Very old.

  • Oh sure, there were a lot 3D first-person games that came before Doom. Dungeons of Daggorath is another example. But the games that used the EoB engine just felt, I dunno, really fast-paced and action-oriented compared to some of those other games.

  • Why aren't you using Prayer? It would make your guy suck less at hitting things. It would also make the monsters suck more at hitting your guy...

  • I never was much of a buffer.

  • Please make more Dungeon Hack videos! They're awesome!

  • Good movie. Got to love a game that draws you in, only to scare the crap out of you from some new, horrific monster :D. Great videos! I'm loving every one of them :).

  • I was about to say diablo before I remembered first person

  • Disregard me, I soak corks. (Didn't watch the whole vid by the time I commented)

  • I'm pretty sure this may be DND 2.

  • Lol key jokes X3

  • Sorry Duke, didn't mean to make you angry, but I must say your knowledge of the history of gaming is impressive, I just use Catacomb 3-D as my personal example because it is the title that introduce me to this genre.

So continue your excellent work, it is always interesting to hear this sort of thing coming out of you. You make my days at work go by faster. And I hope you have fun making these videos.

    Take care

  • Another uninteresting fact of the day: the internet says that flame blade "doesn't benefit from to-hit and to-damage strength bonuses since it's immaterial". Hence, with a strength of 22 you'd be better off using one of your magical maces.
