Every time i listen to this song i think of a war veteran suffering from PTSD waking up from a nightmare, he wakes up from a nightmare sweating and looks at himself in a mirror regretting his decisions, he looks at his wife still asleep and watches his young children asleep too, he heads to the living room staring into the night drinking a beer and falls asleep. The next morning he wakes up to find his wife and children asleep next to him on the couch and smiles and hug them.
