http://www.joblo.com - "The Sessions" - Official Trailer

Based on the poignantly optimistic autobiographical writings of California-based journalist and poet Mark O'Brien, THE SESSIONS tells the story of a man confined to an iron lung who is determined--at age 38--to lose his virginity. With the help of his therapists and the guidance of his priest, he sets out to make his dream a reality.

Who cares what she looks like? I thought the point of this movie was to look past people's differences and looks and see into the soul.

I think she looks good for her age. You can tell from her face that the next 10 years won't be kind. She's getting old but she does take good care of that body. I liked her tan. Every actress should show a lot of their nudity on their films on every film. I thought that was a great movie to see her display more then we expected.

If you hate this or have nothing better to do than say derogatory things about the sex surrogate in real life (she's ugly and old, etc), you obviously are an insecure man who has no clue. Grow up and learn how to be a real man. Gain some empathy for crying out loud. A great film and a funny and inspirational true story.

I've seen it, it's very good. What I said was pretty overly general, just a bit stunned that he wasn't nominated for an Oscar or Fassbender.

I'm not sure why you received so many downvotes. I don't appreciate your tone, but I thought you made a good point. 'Midnight Cowboy' won Best Picture in '69, and PTA, Julianne Moore, and Burt Reynolds were all nominated for awards for 'Boogie Nights,' and that came out in '97.

Factually (maybe not...depending on how you define films' being "about sex"), the OP was wrong.

I don't know...While there is a trend, "do not" as in "never" is a bit hyperbolic. Despite originally being rated "X" (unfairly, and before X was associated with pornography - think "NC-17"), 'Midnight Cowboy' won best picture. It's a heartrending film about a guy trying to make it as a male prostitute. Good movie. You should check it out.
