Using ProClip Mount with iPhone4 in a otterbox cover. V1 is mounted to headliner next to right side sun visor using the visor mount hardware - but installed on headliner and using a foam block to angle the V1 correctly. Very simple install on the 2011 WRX STI Sedan. Time to do, less then 1 hour.
Note: when using Radar Active plug that goes into the headphone jack of the iPhone, you cannot stream music via Bluetooth. When you connect the cars onboard dock cable, you will loose Radar Active connectivity to the V1. This is a Apple limitation that does not allow you to control audio output. Work around for this is to add a Aux cable from the Aux out of the Radar Active module, into the Cars Aux input, as this would allow passthrough of music coming through the headphone jack of the iPhone. HOWEVER, Telephone Bluetooth works when Radar Active is plugged in and the app is running. It will pause Radar Active remote display - your Valentine1 however will remain dark.
Can you show me more detail picture of mounting v1 to headliner?

@mark73729 Ok, I simply bent the V1 mount metal and had to use a piece of hard foam (what it was packed in ) to get the right angle. I had tried to mount it to the headliner fastener, but it was like on a spring so I wanted it firm on the headliner and just slide it in there - works great, very stable, even with very aggressive turning. Best Wishes.
