Reminds me of the summers when my dad and I would go cruisin' in our 1963 SS Impala. People taking pictures,making offers on the car, waving at us, girls and guys stop and stare and we would just cruise for hours. Taking pit stops to get a drink or use the bathroom and resume the fun. Can't wait for this summer, might be our last before I move on up to Sacramento to go to school. Brenton Wood equals one of the most underrated singers of his time.

Absolutely love this song. If I had a doo-wop group, I'd do an a capella cover of it, with voices replacing the bass and piano. In fact, anyone who wants to try this is welcome to steal the idea. Nobody my age in my town is into this kind of music. :(

All you stupid black folks saying these horrible words, need to shut up! I'm black, I don't know ANY bad Mexicans, my experience with my brown brothers and sistahs always have been grand. A good lady who happen to be mexican pierced my ears. I know it may not seem to be much of thing to remember, but to me it was special because she was a good lady and may Mother Mary, continue to bless her wonderful spirit. God Bless I love you all!!
