No-spin Knife Throwing

After much practice, I've finally got the basics down for no-spin knife throwing; at least throwing underhanded, which in my opinion has always looked cooler. I learned this method by reading Ralph Thorn's Combat Knife Throwing guide and watching some of his videos here on YouTube (though I'm not sure I'm doing it 100% correctly). Here are a few clips I put together, and yes, one of the knives does fall out in the last clip. There's also a hanging bottle for a target. I'm not really aiming at it, but I do clip it at one point.

Oh, and I should probably add some info on my target and my knives. Knives are 8" Gil Hibben style throwers, wrapped at the end with duct tape to shift weight. Target is a large plank of wood at about 12-15 feet away.

Smaller blades do work, but in my experience, it's a lot more difficult. Distance was about 12-15 feet. I can only do it well from a max distance of about 20 feet before they start to go out of balance. Pros can do it from any distance.

Awesome throwing. I also enjoy the Thorn no-spin style of throwing. However, I am horrible at the underhand no-spin throws. I posted a video of me throwing freestyle. Check it out it is called Knife Throwing Montage With Various Styles (there is a few no-spin throws).
