  • Take a magic marker and mark the top of the rounds and load them in your mag marker side facing top. Where is the ding? If the ding is on the bottom then its the ramp feed. If the ding is on the side of the cartridge then its the extractor.

  • Love the camo and helmet!

  • lube the extractor like a mother. pull it apart and give it an uber cleaning. that's what i did to mine and it runs like a raped ape.

  • any one plays combat got to be cool.. hehehe

  • @SirRetku At 500 yards the .30 Carbine delivers 170 ft/lbs of energy - so a lucky hit would be deadly at that distance.

At 200 yards the .30 Carbine delivers 370 ft/lbs of energy - which is about the same as a 9 mm at point blank range.

.30 Carbine is a powerful handgun cartridge but it doesn't compare to the .30-06 cartridge used in the M1 Garand. The .30-06 delivers 1,500 ft/lbs of energy at 300 yards! You can see why the M1 Carbine was considered underpowered!

  • I don't think I'd compare the .30 Carbine cartridge to a .38 special. At 100 yards the .30 Carbine delivers 590 ft/lbs of energy - that's more than a .45 acp at point blank range! The whole point of the M1 Carbine was to give more firepower to support personal than the standard 1911s they were usually issued.

  • Whats the killing range of this small round? Is it longer than with 9mm?
