A Boy's Life (2003) - Full Documentary

This is a rare documentary that aired in 2003. It is not currently available in any retail format and until now has been near impossible to find in its entirety anywhere at all. The video is a digitized copy of an original VHS tape from my personal collection that was recorded when it first aired. The film "follows a Mississippi family's attempts to deal with an increasingly violent and erratic child." I tried my best to improve the audio quality as the VHS was wearing, but it is still spotty at points.

I see hill billy families like this all the time growing up southern Bama... these people scare the shit outta me, the fact that the majority of people believe stuff like when she was "healing" the girl is just scary. The kids never stand a chance either. Girls having 3 or 4 kids before they're even 18.

When asked about a follow up she wrote " It would be nice to have a follow up ..but I don't think Rob would participate in it..The first one embarrassed him so so bad..It was pretty rough but remember we were on our BEST BEHAVIOR for the film..some really terrible things dropped on the cutting room floor...What my children endured in this situation was nothing compared to what me and my siblings endured growing up..There was no one to help us ..and save us...I

Authority such as Law or Mental Hospitals..He is a Normal person who wants to forget the Trauma he endured..He does not acknowledge the film because frankly it was embarrassing ...As for me I have been diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder,diabetes,and epilepsy.I am doing good ..My Book Love Undying was published and sadly the Editor for Entry Way Publishing used my mental health

So happy to have found this! Id really like to know how Robert & his Mother Robanna are today. My heart broke for Robert & his Mother the first time I watched this. If anyone has any Info Id Love to know. There was Nothing wrong with Robert other than certain adults in his Life causing him to behave in a Negative way. Poor Kid didn't have a chance. Hope he made out okay <3

I was a troubled child myself and the ending where the grandmother becomes upset because the child wont talk to her or hug her makes me so angry. i know the look on that child's face and the way he shuts down emotionally when she touches him. no doubt she has or did something horrible to him sometimes.
