i've read about the matrix has a marxist message to it, with the machines representing capitalism in that the humans (prolitariate) are no more than resources to make their 'lifestyle' possible and the humans representing the prolitariate working class rising up to defeat this system and liberate humanity from its capitalist enslavement. i agree with it, but what are your thoughts on this?

Marxist, especially Maoist, on a matter of principal do not speak on a subject they haven't thoroughly researched. If I can recall, comrade Mao Zedong placed great emphasis on this in his work "Oppose Book Worship." I know that he stressed this over and over again but I can't specifically remember in which work he first said it.

...This would mean that you've watched all the Twilight films. Or worse, read all the books! How embarrassing... :] Fun video though, thumbs up!

@Vict0r1984 It's similar with zombie movies. If you look at zombie movies and when they were written and look at what the social issues and struggles were of the day you can find them in the stories in someway.

@jacobvardy Yeah. In a lot of vampire stories it's like that but "Twilight" is just so far from the traditional vampire story it's ridiculous. Even if you don't look at the shimmering and no poofing into ash in the sunlight....
