  • This is just brilliant!

I myself have played piano for a couple of years but it dont feels like im getting any better at it.

You wana give me a tip to how to become better? I know all the notes and stuff but I have problems to be "sure" how to put them together if u know what I mean :(

    Great video! Cheers

  • @TokSnygg You say you're not getting any better... But I'm not sure what that means. 1 thing. Practice. Everyday. Don't get discouraged. Good things take time. You don't get really good at this without a lot of commitment. If it were easy, everyone would do it. Right? So you have to have the commitment.

The next thing is that if you don't know your scales, learn them... And learn them in at least 2 octaves, both hands at the same time, but I think you should push for 4 octaves.

  • @TokSnygg This develops your coordination and many other things. But you'll learn the notes, too... how they go together. Makes sure you learn major and minor. And keep at it. Don't quit. If you've been taking for 2 years, then you are committed. Just keep at it! :) Good luck!

  • Dude, you're AWESOME!!!!

Wish I could play like that!

    Unbelievable!

Classic and pop go together. I love it!

Did you learn to pay like this on your own or did you have lessons? I hope for me, the second case...

    Have any cd's?

  • @Obiz22 I took a lot of lessons... How I put this together, though wasn't from lessons... Just practice, learn how to play, learn music theory, learn how chords fit together... learn why sounds 'do' what they do... It starts to makes sense after a while.

Music becomes like colors. The sounds are artifacts... The colors guide you in new directions... Lighting your path...

  • I am really impressed. I am a self-taught pianist and I wish that I had the technique to do those songs. Especially CPE Bach's "Solfeggietto" and "Root Beer Rag". You also have a great tone when you go up high in "Levon". Great job!

  • @yodamonkey8 I'm a little self conscious of my higher register because I think I lose tone... Great to hear you like it though... That makes me feel better! :)
