Took SuperMeanbean up on an invitation to meet up in Wragby & go for a ride around Lincs. Stopped about half way, at the rest area just before the Humber Bridge to turn on the camera - so the vid starts there. Next stop was the Ivy Club in Wragby to meet SM for lunch. Had a rural route in mind, away from heavy traffic. Weather was dull, overcast, wet in places, gusting winds, with the possibility of widespread grinning later.

We ended the ride at a really nice biker type caf in a layby nr market Rasen somewhere, but the memory card got filled up way before then unfortunately. This is the first bit, there's another bit to follow.

Many thanks to SM for the invite - it's a good day when you make new friends. Hope you both enjoyed the afternoon as much as I did.

  • @1ntempestivus great sounds good to me , if matt can make it great if not thats a shame but at least the two of us are with each others riding style if you can call mine that ha ha ,no point upsetting the apple cart , would like to see his 955i in action,i have rear facing dgital camera now with real good quality pics , did a test other day from petrol station in skegness to home on the way back from work, tie strap to the rear grab rail , also going to try the rear foot peg

  • @1ntempestivus - and if anyone comes across this comment and fancies meeting up along the route in a few weeks time to ride along, you'd be more than welcome (let us know tho' or we'll think we're being tailed by the old bill lol).

  • @SuperMeanbean - still working on ideas for a ride. Thought maybe meet up around the Humber Bridge somewhere - think there are cafes in the sightseeing and wooded areas, I'll try and find out. Then perhaps straight up to Driffield and across to Skipsea, stopping off at Mr Moo's Dairy Farm cafe for homemade ice-cream and most excellent coffee, before banging down the coast road to Withernsea or Spurn, and back to the bridge. Bit of everything. Hope Matt can make it this time. Let you know.
