that isnt a gyroball
snap your wrist back and pull your fingers down
As your shoulder turns same idea as curveball

a gyro ball is just a broken slider. Autoramen is right on. Anyone who actually studied the gyroball knows that to throw a gyroball you actually twist your arm in an outward motion, like a screwball and allow the ball to come off your hand like a football. Its the easiest way to explain it.
The pitch itself does almost nothing. Its a fastball that if thrown properly should slightly rise, if anything. The spin of the ball is what really throws hitters off, not the actual movement

ive herd from various people in my league to use this grip and the same wrist action

Interesting grip to say at the least however the fact remains that what you described as a way to throw the gyroball is actually the technique used to throw a 12-6 or any variation (pending on your arm angle) of a curveball. As the previous people had said before me the gyroball was never intended to be an offspeed / breaking pitch. It was explained as a fastball that when thrown would have the appearance as if it were rising and that the spin of the ball would maybe throw off the batter.

ur a dipshit u have a change up grip and if u flick ur wrist like u show in the vid it get the spin of a 12-6 curve retard
-
sorry little dude, but thats not a gyro. if you grip the ball with two fingers on each side then you that turns into a changeup, not a gyro. the "dudes from japan" who made the gyroball, Himeno and Tezuka, never designed the gyro to be some sort of breaking pitch that "cuts left". its too complicated to explain here, so id say that you should just stick to your normal fastball curve change until you get a bit older. maybe by then the gyro will be understood for what it was supposed to have been.
