67 cougar idle

289, solid flat tappet, c4 3000 stall, 4-.86 geared 9", just broke the cam in, I've had this car since I was 15...(45 this year) Car has 98,000 miles.

The starter is a late model gear reduction starter from dbelectrical on ebay...they sell for $60....I have had great luck with their stuff...thanks for all the comments, guys....more video to come. And the exhaust at this time is dumped at the rear end.

Never heard a starter like that before... but this 289 sounds nice, usually they sound like tractors lol
