Part two

Brett released this statement in response to people questioning whether Michael was aware of the camera.
To those people curious about if Michael was aware that the video camera was filming:
Several years ago Michael and I were in Florida vacationing and, early one morning Michael came into my room with HIS video camera and started to film and ask questions about my life and why i dreamed of becoming a director. He was always interested in people and curious about their hopes and dreams. After about an hour, I asked if I could interview him about his life and dreams. He said yes and handed me his camera. I then got a pen and piece of paper and wrote down some questions that I thought would be interesting. As I was reading the questions to him in the midst of the interview I realized that the camera wasn't on. So, I turned it on. I have hundreds of hours of footage of us hanging out, vacationing, dancing, and sharing our thoughts on life. This video was a very personal conversation between two friends that I wanted to share so that people would see his humanity and beautiful heart. The interview was transcribed and published with Michael's permission in Interview magazine several years ago. Please feel free to look it up. He was happy to share it and loved how it was a conversation between two friends and not a journalist prying into his private life. It is not for sale and never will be.

  • @ritter89 : I'm a very big fan but I definitely agree with your analysis. Everytime people say MJ was a freak, that he was crazy, mentally unstable... it's very hard to explain to them why I think he was the most misrepresented person on earth. I have these kinds of videos on my mind... but they are mostly watched by fans. The media would rather broadcast the Bashir interviews over and over. VERY well-put anyway :o)

  • @trin20t i wanna kiss him on the mouth! :D *-*

he's cute and gorgeous indeed ;)

  • @MrMacsiPhone Your a joke BTW deep interview.

  • @tyme413 No Matter What!!

  • Wow, am I the only one frozen 'still' by his words at 6:29 - 6:41

I rarely disagree with Mike. But I can't imagine "Movies" touching ones soul more than music. I know he's talking w/a filmmaker and he was a huge fan of cinema. But this sounds strange: "Michael Jackson" KING OF POP prefers movies to music. --- I can't say the same. Even though I love a good flick (who doesn't). It's Music saves lives, marriages, mends hearts, incites joy, carries will --is w/us each day. A given movie is not.

  • @ksr622002 lol quit lying... you think you've watched almost every Michael video on you tube??? Are you clear how many MJ videos are posted?? even after the thousands of results, they're thousands more unlisted... you have to find the hard way/

  • @rozmill3 This seems like Michael only being humble Michael. I know what you mean though. I guess it could be a sum of both.

  • It was sad that he saw the effect that James Brown and Jackie Wilson and the rest had on their audiences, yet he didn't seem to realize the even bigger effect he had on his audiences. He speaks of having them having the audience in the palm of their hands and having power and control over them, but it's like he didn't realize that he was perhaps the greatest entertainer to ever live and had that same effect and even more. It was like he forgot who he was, what he did and how people loved him.

  • @honeybabe2007 AMEN to that!!!
