  • Great video of the greatest hobby there can be - baseball cards

  • Also the only cards that could be worth a decent amount (Babe Ruth, Joe Jackson, etc.) don't get valued in Beckett because they are too rare. I just pulled a Joe Jackson Dual Bat outta DOnruss Threads 08 #'d/25 and it is not in there.

  • beckett is just a book put out in colaberation with card companies to give inaccurate values witch makes product value go up.

  • Beckett is too favorable and inaccurate to what extent the cards actually sell for on average. If you wanna know, check the holy grail of Ebay.

  • book value is fake pieces of cardboard are not worth like 50 bucks 90 bucks its flat out fake

  • Mario, I think you misunderstand what book value is.

  • Baseball cards are assets if you don't collect the player. With that said, it doesn't matter what Beckett says. If you want to know how much you can trade/sell your card for, you will need to go to Ebay. And not to the buy now, but to the auction and see what someone will actually pay for it. Look at the housing MKT today, it is a great example of assets being sold at MKT value and not book.

  • Book Value, as in most assets, doesn't mean anything. I hate to say it, but if you want to know what your card is worth, go to Ebay and get the Fair Market Value of the card.

  • cocoa crisp's mothe would not pay 25 for the card, she would have him sign a base card of her son for free!

  • lol, that's why i only bust boxes evey year or so, not to make money, for the joy of busting the box!
